A message from the NZRCA Secretary:
Hi Guys
Its time for the NZRCA annual general meeting.
Remits are required to be into me buy the 31th August but you can send them sooner and I will send them to the other clubs.
To be held in Clubrooms called Hanger Six Auckland Airport on Saturday September 21st


There will be a special meeting at 10.30 for the delegates to consider changes to the constitution before the main AGM
this should take 1 hour. The AGM will follow immediately after this meeting

Nominations are invited for the following proposed positions as stated in the discussion paper for the NZRCA Executive

Technical Officer Gas On Road
Technical Officer Gas Off Road
Technical Officer Electric On Road
Technical Officer Electric Off Road
Licence Secretary

Should agreement not be reached on the proposed positions the following nominations are also invited for the existing positions for the NZRCA Executive

Area 1 Zone Steward (North Of North Island)
Area 2 Zone Steward (South Of North Island)
Area 3 Zone Steward (South Island)
If all of the Executives elected are from the North OR South Island another person from the other is to be elected.

R/C Drifting to be added to the Rule Book
Large Scale R/C to be added to the Rule Book ( Adopt Australian Rules )

CLOSING DATE FOR NOMINATIONS IS 31st AUGUST
Please send nominations for both sets of positions as changes may not be made effective

Lookout for a junior driver to join the M Branz race team

Press Release 1st August 2013
M Branz Limited & AHP Racing wishes to announce that they are on the lookout for a junior driver to join the race team.

This person must be 15 years or younger,
Preference is for someone who has not raced in Stock Touring beforehand.
You are interested in racing at a National level.

What is on offer!

A New Spec-R S1 chassis for the 2014 season to be used at club meetings and National events.
The car will come with.
Initial set of Ride Tyres
Matrixline Mazda 6 Body Shell
Plus
Entry fee paid for in Stock Touring Class at the 2015 NZRCA National Championship.
Mentoring by other AHP Racing Team members
Spares and tyres supplied at Team Member rates.
And depending on where you live, A few days with the team testing at North Harbour Stadium Track.
Also as part of the AHP Race team, you will be taught about
Car Set up
Shock Building
Car Handling
Tyre Choice
Motor Maintenance
How to submit a race report to sponsors.


How to Enter
You can submit in writing, or by posting a YouTube clip, or on Facebook. Be creative; explain to us why you would like to join the team. Include photos; mention any past achievements if you have any.

All entries will be posted up on RC Racer and on M Branz Facebook page.
Entries close 1st December 2013
Winner Announced 24th December 2013 on RC Racer.

The winner will need to provide their own radio gear, and batteries.
At the end of the time, the car will be offer to the winner at a market value for a second hand car.

VRC Pro goes Free-to-play (F2P)

Great news for those who don't play often enough to warrant a full subscription. VRC Pro has gone to the free to play model.

FREE-TO-PLAY (F2P)
This new membership replaces the Trial and Lite memberships, and basically gives you 8 tracks and 5 cars (on- and offroad), for unlimited time and totally free. Extra tracks, cars and other content, can still be purchased as before.

When your all-inclusive membership expires you will be reverted to the Free-to-Play account, so you can continue to enjoy VRC Pro with the basic Free-to-Play content, including all content you may have purchased as a Free-to-Play member.

2013 Southern Clash

Hi Guys and Girls
Our annual event The Beck Industries Southern Clash will be run on the weekend of 16th – 17th of March 2013.
Naming Sponsor for the Southern Clash this year is Beck Industries thanks to David Beck for supporting our event again this year

We are running this over 2 days again this year, as it was a big success last year.
We would like to welcome Blackwoods Protector as a minor sponsor at the 2012 Beck Industries Southern Clash On Road Champs.

They will be supplying an airbrush compressor kit valued at $150, which will be given away to a lucky winner during the weekend.

Every car that is entered into the event, will get one chance to win. The more cars you enter, the more chances you get to be the lucky winner!!!

Also like to add we are running 6mins heats and finals for all classes expect pro12 which will 8mins as normal.
This is a change we have made at the club, our club days are now run with 6min heats and finals
