Does anyone still race Pro10? Has anyone thought of starting a World GT series?
I only thought of it as Pro12 is cathing on and looks fast, Formula 1 is making a resurgence by the look of it (well it looks like it may be catching on a bit down south), and the chassis are a lot less than touring cars.
I know all the arguements about too many classes, blah blah blah, just curious to find out what is happening around the country..

I'd be keen to get in if 1/10 pan was to start up again. It wasn't voted out at the last AGM which is good but nobody seems to want to run in it. Strange really. I know there are quite a few guys out there with them and they just need a bit of a gee-up to get it going again. It seems to be big still in EU. WGT is a class that is getting alot of talk especially in the states as it brings things more into spec type racing which makes for very close racing. :)

Since i'm working full time this year i'll have the funds of getting mine going (which is my goal for this year).

Screw WGT, i'm going full turn brushless, with 7.4v lithiums. Will be pretty fast :) mwhaha.

If you want a close, spec rwd class then race F1 to be honest

Not worried about spec class, got a mini for that. I like the idea of control tyres more than anything, makes it a bit easier for us noobs that can't make the right tyre choices (read: lazy).
F1 looks like it may be good, but the Pro10 looks like insane speed! I was looking at WGT because the bodies look niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice (y)

now this is how pro10 should be:

They are doing laps 1 second faster than 1/8th gas

nice! sucks you can't put 7.4v lithiums in those, or I would have got one.
4 cell with a 3.5t brushless motor would be fun though

Anyone know where the best place is to get Pro10 tyres / rims from??

Yeah the main reason for the getting the AE car is i just prefer their cars and the parts cant be compared to for price. For tires i reckon either A-main or Tower are the easiest to get from, from what Ive seen so far.

Really nice track, that is how our tracks should be here. Open enough for all classes but can be used in a fairly tight configuration. And the curbs look nice as well.
Now can you imagine how fast a correctly setup 1/8th electric could be.

I'm liking the look of this stuff. So what chassis do people run these days? The only pan car I had was a Bolink Eliminator about 100 years ago!
So far i've seen the Assoc RC10 (I like assoc gear but not sure about the lipo fitting deal), CRC Gen-x, and X_Ray X10. Does anyone run these?
