Nice work Craig. Pretty close in buggy with just 9 seconds in it at the finish. Poor old Chris...... Just can't shake off the bridesmaid tag :-)

Thanks to everyone who came and raced for a great weekends fun :). It was great to catch up with everyone again.

The ARCCC track was in simply wicked condition - super smooth and the grip was sick  .
A huge thanks must go to Craig and his track crew, who work tirelessly week in and week out to keep the track looking good - which in turn allows it to be prepared as it was for this weekend.

Big thanks to Karl B for the pitting duties over the last two days (y), and thanks to Mike McDade from BCE Speed for the AKA rubber - awesome.
Things went a little pear shaped in the buggy final for me when one, and then the other rear shock bladder blew out on the normally super reliable XB9 after around 8 minutes :x .
With no oil in either rear shock it was like driving a bucking bronco around for the next 40 mins or so, so apologies if I held anyone up along the way  . I was just stoked to make the A, and all I wanted to do at that point was just make sure the car lasted the full 45 so I could post a finish :)

Hopefully catch up with you all again at the Waikato Champs in a few months 8)

He should of finished 7th but his transponder started to not count at the end of the final. Lost quite a few laps  Get a new one Jono  Good race mate well done (y)

after a weekend where i deeply regreat saying "what could possably go wrong" cause basicly if it could it did .
but with every problem came a lesson

i cant wait for the next meeting in two weeks

Thanks to all who helped me over the weekend ( shit there were a few of you haha ) It was a great event which seemed to run pretty much on time .

one suggestion i would make is that it should be run in summer so we can stay behind without freezing ournuts off haha

congrates to Craig you are the master . ( i remember someone teasing you because you were old and suposadly hadnt had a win in ages . ha i bet they regret that )

Thanks trev and stu for putting on a great event BUT . PLEASE dont let Jerry near the pa system again . haha

Steve Rea

Ps perhaps next year you could get some of the suppliers to put on trophy and promo girls oh yeah

:D Thanks guys :D super stoked that everything held together when it counted.
the racing over the last few days was some of the fastest and closest iv'e ever seen at our track and wow what a crazy surface to run on, Chris and I were in the pits for the truggy B watching Mark C lifting the inside 2 wheels through the chicane in warmup 8)

The 6T was such a pleasure to drive all weekend and at its best on the VP-Pro 904uf, thanks heaps Nathan, great tyres and hardly any wear all weekend (y) some of the heat times saturday smashed the track record with average lap times of 41.4 seconds over the 11 laps

the first half of the truggy final was a great run, I think going off the back in the first lap  fired me up   I had to push full speed to try and close the gap Mike had pulled on me , unlucky for Mike to have a body start lifting off, congrats to Chris and Alan on their podium finishes in both finals (y) wer'e in for some good club races with the pace of the top 4 this weekend, especially Chris's current pace in buggy, man that final was tough the 805mf did the trick but I should have been on the pins like truggy for the track condition, a rare type of surface being in the cooler time of the year, some of the track stayed damp and smooth all weekend and didn't blue groove like the dryer sections did.

thanks again Shane Go Racing NZ :D the GXIIs were fast, ran well and held there tune all weekend
great job by my pit men today (y) cheers guys and thanks to Trev and Stu for running the meeting (y) , great effort put in by lots of the club guys the track will be one to remember 8)

cools pics, love that one of Alan and I in the truggy race.

Hey Guys

Sorry I couldnt stay for prize giving, Had to start work at midnight

Congrates on the double Craig Awsum driving all weekend (y)

Thanks to all involved running the event and track work, the track was awsum all weekend,
amazing to see so many 11 lappers in truggy, and buggy was tightest racing racing ive seen ,
One mistake was enough to go from 1st to 4th in qualifing so I look forward to a bit more of
that sort of action at the Waikato champs and nats

Cheers Mike

What a great weekend, the track was AWESOME, best i have ever raced on, (thanks CRAIG)
Very happy with my result and a big thanks to Stu and Trev for running it, Jerry for the mic work,AJ for the BBQ cooking.
Mike for the AKA tyres, and PJ and wihtamoo(spelling ?) for pitting me in the final
Also Jmac for the wicked paint work. It was so good i did my best to keep it on its wheels so it would not get scratched, i did get a few
and a big thanks to all from out of town for coming, you all made it a what is was, Great

Congrats to the Guru for the double, there was some great racing between you and Chris. wicked job in truggy coming from last to the win, hard luck to mike would have made it interesting at the end.

what an awesome weekend guys!!

had soo much fun in the truggy!!! the Proline Calibers done there trick, thanks to JT Concepts NZ (y) .
Managed to bump up into the C final after an awesome battle with andy and just missed out on bumping up to the B with an awesome battle going on with PJ and scotty (y). good racing guys!! I very happy with how I went with the first big meeting in the truggy and changing a few setup bits.

Just a shame i couldnt get the buggy under control after racing the truggy lol but still had a heap of fun!! just glad the buggy had started to free up after the quailfing heats on saturday.

Big thanks to Shane (the Grizz) for the piting/fueling/ tuning the new 3 needle (y) , Steve Bowles for tunning the OS (y) , Murry for the piting (y). the ARCCC boys for a awesome weekend (y) and everyone else that came to the event.
