Yeah real shame considering the vintage meetings been advertised as that weekend on the NZRCA website for about 2 months.

Hopefully it doesn't hinder either meeting

This sucks!!!!! Now we either have to pull both the Underpush teams from the enduro to do Vintage nats because we have all these cars ready for it or leave all these cars at home and do the Enduro ?? Cant something be changed so the people can do both events ?? 3 out of the 4 members in my Enduro team have Vintage cars starting to get built up for the Vintage nats.....

We cant change the dates with our venue, I checked against everything when I set them end of last year. Wish I could do something from my end.

Hi guys,

Firstly a big thanks must go out to the Hamilton club for changing the date of the enduro so those that want to attend both meetings now can.

As Amber has mentioned above, the website is up so get those entries in. Last years event was a big success and we're hoping that this years event will be even better.

If you have any questions then please ask and I'll do my best to answer them.

The only trouble is: What cars do I run?

It'd be cool to see posting here of what others are dragging out of the closet to run.

Lol, I have too many for that. I kinda like the idea of running the oldest or most unusual just to see how they go. Are you running Darryl?

Haha - yep! Easy situation to fall into with a vintage addiction!

xx4 is too new isn't it? I don't remember when they came out, but my impression is that it was in the late 90's.

Yes sadly the XX4 is too new (released in 1997). There were discussions around do we change the eligibility date each year so it remains at 20 years, but the issue as it was pointed out would be that next year the XX4 would become legal and everything else might as well stay at home as it wouldn't really stand a chance. In 2013 (I think was the year) the XX4 was used to win the European 4wd Buggy Championship so its still a very competitive car today - in fact the 22-4 is almost identical in many was only strengthened.
