Week and a bit to go, solid enties so far for this event. I know of many who have not pre-reg'd but voiced expressions of interest to participate.

Entries have come on strong this week with a decent auckland contingent registering. Good chance to get a couple of days track time before NZIOC.
Our rules are slightly different being 10.5t so please remember that, but it is great racing.

Was contemplating how we could incorporate a bit of a social night into Saturday after racing. Not very often we all get a chance to just sit around and talk shit.
Ideas include, couple beers at the track (if allowed?), Pub, someone's house with the rugby on? (I'll offer mine but the lounge is pretty small).

I would have been very keen for this, but have my brothers engagement party. I think a pub would be best, believe no alcohol is allowed at the track site.

G1.9 Consumption of Alcohol by organisers, competitors and their associates during
an NZRCA sanctioned event shall not be permitted.

So as the information pack states that racing finishes 4:45pm Saturday and does not restart until 07:00am Sunday then surley the time in between isn't sanctioned so it would be at the discretion of the hall owners and race organisers to run a sensible socal session. If it means that a sanctioned event runs from the beginning of the event Saturday and finishes at the end of Sunday afternoon. That would mean to the letter of the rules no beerzies for anyone Saturday night at any location.

In another words another rule with grey areas they may need to be addressed.

O well best I have another Jack tonight then.

Good luck to all the competitors and organisers for another great HRCCC event.

That's a bit unfair that you can't go out and have a beer with your meal Saturday night.

He is right. We were told at drivers briefing the next day. No beers on sight.
