Actually keen on doing this, It's my favourite track in the country as it is NOT forgiving at all, much like monaco. Is it still as violent as ever? Are the curbs filled in yet or can you still get stuck in them like a pond?

Heres a photo from the 2002 Nationals - Stock Touring A Final..still using AM/FM Controllers.

the walls were move about 1.5 meters about 6 years ago, we have had a new surface laid down and a new design put on with curbs that wont suck your car in and trap it!

Holy crap! The track looks so smooth and risk free now, back then the walls and square faced concrete edges were at every turn waiting for to slip up and smash your car to bits. In fact I remember the outside walls being so high that a couple of the marshals even fell victim to them. I absolutely loved it :) you would be racing around and then hear this almighty THUMP and someone would have clipped a curb and eaten the outside wall or you would hear "MARSHAL OVER THERE I'M STUCK" and there would be a car stuck in those concrete curbs haha.

2002 Nationals were a spectacle.

yeap, those thumps were mostly me breaking my hpi rs pro front arms

the surface was relayed about 16 months ago so its super smooth

Registrations close on the 1st so if you gonna race, better enter soon, do you need any gear ?

As far as gear goes....I have nothing at all haha!

Thanks for the offer :) Just talking to the old sponsors to see how possible doing this event would be. If no good I will holla out.
I'm in NZ for a month so might even come down earlier.

Could be a bit of fun while on holiday
