less than a month to go guys

some useless stats and not so useless info for you all

- there have been NO silver can requests for Stock
- track temps have ranged from 30 in the morning up to 60 mid afternoon
- a good laptime for ss and mod is early 18 second stock is mid 19 second
- there is enough astroturf at CMR to cover the entire site
- the 1/10 off road track got its wall ride yesterday

There must be more Pro10s out there than that. Be good to see a good field of them in Welly.

If anybody is thinking about going but can't cover the travel from up this way, I can give someone a lift down and maybe can arrange free accommodation too, especially if you're going to run Pro10 - PM me.

we had a committee meeting last night to touch on racers questions

Under 12s class

as per my earlier post its as per nzrca rules, you supply your motor, but with one amendment, not every one will have the sweep control tire, and since the class supposed to be hassle free, we have decided "as long as the tire/wheel is ment for a m chassis, its legal" so that would include the ride and Tamiya tires "race what you got"

tire additive

easy answer to this is "NO!"

tables and chairs

we have a heap of big tables that will be setup in the pit area (that's is the astrotuff covered section that will be our 1:10 offroad track shortly after the nats) if you cab bring a chair, awesome, if not, we can find you one

shelter

the club does have some easy ups and shelter, these will be put up and they do cover a big area but if you can bring your own, awesome!

Awesome stuff guys!

A question regarding the Juniors, has there been a decision made on the format for these guys?
Are you going to run their qualifiers and final on the Sunday and therefore free up Daddy racers from a possible 3 days babysitting?

I see the uptake on this class is slow and wonder if the thought of having to entertain the little ones for the whole event could be a factor. (For the NZIOC we ran it all on the Sunday and it seemed to work pretty well).

Looking forward to the weekend - going to be fun (y)

Hi

We are looking at running three qualifying rounds on Saturday, and one qualifier and three finals on Sunday. This way you can decided to only Sunday if three days babysitting is too much. :)

The Club is running a very low key and very lose mind-set around rules and regs for the <12 class. Fun is key.
