Thought i'd post up a pic of my new baby. I've put on the rear wing and stickers since this so will post up more pics soon.

This has to be one of the coolest body shapes i've seen for a long time in RC. Makes my Dodge Stratus look pretty pedestrian.

The car is a CRC GenX 10 (thanks Matt!), with a Tekin RS esc, LRP 13.5 brushless, and 2 cell Lipo (y)

Hope to unleash some carnage at Ruapuna this weekend.....

I heard it seriously lacks down force and is prone to taking flight if it hits a bump.

Good luck, looks the business.

It only lacks down-force next to a "wedge" style body. I had it getting around Rua pretty good the other day. The bump thing may be an issue, but then pan cars we're never really designed as carpark racers.
I'll try and get some film of it on the weekend and post it up here.

It was a nice car to build and is easy to tune.

1/10th pan cars are a crapload of fun to race. Crazy twitchy but that same crazy speed of the 1/12ths. I honestly thought that class was dead?

It was/Is, but i'm tired of looking at Mazda's and Dodge's all day, so thought i'd get something fun that looks cool! I'm not sure if it will catch on, but there is already 2 other guys I know of down here that are keen (one of them already has a car, not sure on the other), so who knows what may come.

They are a LOT cheaper than touring cars to buy, and not many hop up's required as they come with pretty much everything already.

I'm going for the Brushless 13.5 / 2 cell lipo combo as it's plenty of speed, not major tyre wear, and electric gear I have for touring, so easy swaps :)

awesome cars guys, will you guys look at entering yours in national and other major events? as since i got my f1 iv been going to get one of these cars but havnt as no-one has been entering them. i have been planning to buy a 12th for the last few months but if people are starting to get keen on the 10th pan cars again then i will skip the 12th and get a 10th as thats wot iv actually wanted for a cuple of years. so id be able to do just f1 and another pan class at bigger meets.

cheers, ray

Great looking cars guys. I have a 10r5 with 2s lipo conversion winging its way from the states right now and just put the masking film on my mulsane body. Due to pro10 still being an nzrca class im thinking it could be great to see a full feild of these babies running at the next nationals. Although, instead of just making it full on pro10 (which is just insane)to get more interest in the class it could be in line with WGT rules running 13.5, with the exception of open tyres and bodyshells. The mulsane looks sooo much cooler. :D What do you guys think about that? 8) 8) 8)
