Re: Anybody Repair or Knows Who Repairs ESC?

Nope you've popped a few FET's on the H-Bridge, typical result from reverse polarity, it will cog due to one of the windings not getting any juice, you're typically two phasing the motor, to repair you need to source a replacement h-bridge board or find someone with a rework station and replace the ...

Re: Best classes at crccc

Super Stock 13.5 Blinky is probably the biggest TC class now, a lot of very solid racers running in that class.

Re: Charging past mah limits

mAH ratings on batteries are pretty much just dribble, there is no international standard on testing and therefore labelling of capacity ratings for batteries, also the circuit within your charger pretty much just makes an assumption of current over time to conclude the mAH it has put back into the ...

Re: Motor fan question?

Just make sure the fan is rated for 8.4V if direct wiring to the battery if it isn't it won't last long.

Re: Onroad Nationals 2017 - CMR

It's a sad sad world we live in, apparently I have to help shift house instead of attending the nats, so looks like I'll have to miss out, now to go about getting my entry removed, best of luck to all racers.

Re: M05 bodies why so limited?

What's the point of having a list of approved bodies when the list is soo vast like that, jeez there's everything from sports coupes to damn near station wagons on that list, it seems all it is excluding is shoe boxes and gaffer tape, maybe a we revision of the rule may be required next agm, more li...

Re: Interesting

Part of my motivation to get people thinking and talking is my biggest let down of the north islands was the sat meeting. I just think people/ clubs should have more discussions between them before throwing new random rules at the racers that they actually don't want. And yes some hard decisions ne...

Re: Interesting

OK so maybe I didn't make my reply simple enough so lets have a look at a few things, So firstly the ole spec batts from donkeys ago, now this was purely because back in the dark ages of running NiCads and NiMH stick packs there was a considerable disadvantage by using a basic pack due to its limite...

Re: Interesting

OK so I'm a little confused on the whole battery capacity shindig that is being portrayed here, now from an electrical point of view where is the advantage of capacity alone, all this dictates is run time, currently in 21.5 Stock Touring I'm usually biffing in around the 1300-1700 mAH from a 5 min r...

Re: NZRCA Exec Meeting Bulletin - Incase you have not seen

Whats strange to me is that most people will only ever use two sets for a race meet, one set for quals and one set for finals, then they will usuallly have that get outa jail free set in their bag if the weather goes extreme one way or another, this idea of 1 set per round is to me ghost chips.

Team Powers Products

Well peeps, most will be aware by now of the new motor for 21.5 Stock Touring so lets leave that in the past and look towards the new 13.5 Blinky Super Stock class and the current F1 class, why not power these with the proven power of the Team Powers Actinium, the V1 Actinium is the current NZ1 in bo...
