Re: AGM/Remits

A valid point yet the NZRCA rules , like most people point out, are set for NZRCA sanctioned meetings, and last time I checked Micro was not an Official class in the rule book, so technically wouldn't be covered by the rules anyway, yes there are exceptions to the rules, but like stated previously i...

Re: Gallery, Show off your rides!!!

Looking good, I see you managed to get the hex pattern all cut, its refreshing to see some curves for once as well, achieving nice looking flames is a hard task let alone to pinstripe them as well, nice work  (y)

Re: AGM/Remits

Mate I don't remember reading in the remit anyone who races without tyre warmers will be banished for life, did I miss something? PS tyre warmers are banned for the invitational class at Reedy Race of Champions, maybe you could place a remit to ban them in NZ and see how it fly's? No it is more to ...

Re: AGM/Remits

we tired to get the best bang for bucks, and we (I) failed to choose the right one, at that stage not many had experience with control tires so the knowledge wasn't there While I totally understand that not everyone at your club has tyre warmers and it is awesome that you help out others with your ...

Re: AGM/Remits

Like every thing there is two sides to everycoin, to start with, Tony drones are worse than this hobby, you buy the flashest kit out there to get into it, then 1 week later the newest baddest Flight controller or esc's or the shindig frame is on the market making your 1 week old purchase obsolete ha...

Re: AGM/Remits

So this new control motor for 21.5......was a huge failure, everyone in the A final at the nats were about a tenth apart on lap times, what a shit motor and rubbish rule, now everyone is close.....that must be crap... Control works, it is proven here, ETS in Europe, uk, USA but not in nz, because n...

Re: AGM/Remits

QUOTE "do we expect these racers to go out and spend 70 odd quid on some warmers to get their required tyres up to temp to run 1 event................." Simply put, these drivers who don't own $70 tire warmers will happily go out and buy a new chassis because its new, a new speed control, new lipo ...

Re: AGM/Remits

What would of happened if you were one of those drivers that doesn't own Tyre warmers, how would of the hi temp tyres perform without a good ole toasting, it was pretty obvious to see the guys without warmers at the Nats at Ruapuna when we ran the 36deg tyres in both Mod and SS, I happened to be one...

Re: AGM/Remits

If only Tony had of stuck with the beers and burgers in Chch instead of the dodgy curry he wouldn't have spent half the day in the porta loo hahaha, like i noted i'm neither for nor against, I can see merit on both sides of the fence, I guess one positive with how you guys run in aus is that you run...

Re: AGM/Remits

remit 5 about a 10A max charge rate is a good one and the reasoning is also good. less batteries on site equals less risk. Having ONE battery per car and being able to charge at 10A (well within nearly all battery recommended charge rates for most of us using 3000-6000 mah batteries) makes perfect ...

Re: Airbrushing stencils?

Pretty sure the one I use is wasp, as the bee is a tad small, also it pays to stick it too something like your jeans or a tshirt first to get rid of some of the adhesive, as it will pull up mask.
