Re: On Road National Champs Feb 2018

I have been hearing that the reason for the no change was to stop cheating....but you can charge a standard lipo to 9v if you want to and people do try it. So what we do even on club days is randomly check voltages with $5 voltmeter before the race, this stops people with any type Lithium batteries ...

Re: AGM/Remits

Yeah it's not additive, it simply cleans and does not make the tire faster, simply brings it back to where it should be. To be honest, if you cleaned the tires with hot water and a good cloth it may even have the same effect. It's more about cleaning the dust and marbles away so that you have a good...

Re: AGM/Remits

Hey Mishy,

I'm with you, if aint broke, don't fix. I never said change it, rather letting you know how it is done here to combat clashes and to resuce time between races. With that info you can do what you like with it :)

Re: AGM/Remits

And also this happens here so to combat that problem you seperate the classes and put mini or 12th or f1 in between so there is time, or you have a friend get your car off the warmers and put it down for you. Like i say, works well here and everyone is happy.

Re: AGM/Remits

Most events here now allow 1 lap practise, line up then go. This means that the new control tires you guys use will be warm because you all of you will own tire warmers and also it means no stuffing around and quicker events. I remember some races here only a year ago where it was 3 min between race...

Re: AGM/Remits

Matt, i only just seen this from your very first post " Remit 2 about taking the stand in qualifying order will apply to every final at every sanctioned event (IC/EP/on/off) - just think about who will organise and police this and the time it will take." Do you mean, joe blogs qualified 1st in the A...

Re: AGM/Remits

There's surely no reason why you couldn't have a 32 for SS and mod and a 28 for stock? Can't be that difficult to police or organise, can it? You can do that Matt, that's entirely up to you guys. I would suggest having simple purple dot stickers with nail polish to seal over it for 32s and green fo...

[/quote] Be wary of specifying a premount - some wheels don't fit all cars well (e.g. I can't run the Ride premount wheels on my TC as they don't fit properly with the wheel screw system the car has).
