Re: Website current state update

Matt, the only section of the forum that seems to be used nowadays to any real extent is the for sale/wanted section - I don't think you want it to become a buy/sell forum, do you? I like the idea of the web page showing results and pics from events, but you could just as easily do that from a Faceb...

The hole size is 24mm high x 47mm long and it is a full radius at each end (12mm radius).

They only ship within Europe, so hopefully you can find them somewhere else. Hard to get lipos from other countries these days.

Re: 32 year old PB mini Mustang - going to race it again soon

I know. I bought them to fit the PB and my old original Ultima, which is also through-chassis and they don't fit either car, so I've never used them. I think they are made mainly to fit the Tamiya M-chassis cars.

I checked last night and the ones I have are Gens Ace.

Re: 32 year old PB mini Mustang - going to race it again soon

I have a couple of the roundy shaped Lipo packs and they don't fit through the PB chassis holes. I think they are the Gen Aces ones but not 100% sure. Might be better to adapt it for saddles and run one each side on the chassis, or use a super low profile 2s pack (2600 MaH or similar - same size as ...

Re: 2.0 inch tires for the vintage scene

I cut a section out of a set of 2.2" tyres and glued the remaining bits back together to make them 2.0". They survived all of the racing at the last vintage nats and are still OK now. Bit of work in it though. I'm sure the guys who've mounted the 2.2" tyres will be able to give tips, but if I was to...

Re: 32 year old PB mini Mustang - going to race it again soon

I have a stack of parts, but not the parts you're after. I did have a full set of Maxima bits years ago, but I suspect that they've been butchered as part of my many home-build attempts. I think I still have the Maxima steering knuckle/arm bits somewhere and probably some Maxima shock towers, along ...

Re: What model Yokomo?

Depends. It can be restored, you can still find parts or parts cars for these around (EBay mostly). If you're restoring it to sell then there's probably no money in it, but if you want it as a shelf queen, then whether or not it is worth it, is up to you. I have one that is a similar bitser and I in...

Re: What model Yokomo?

Looks like a bit of a bitser. The chassis itself is 870c or YZ-10. Top deck and long driveshafts are Works 91, the bulkheads and arms are aftermarket RPM and the shocks are Kyosho Gold shocks. Who know what it was originally, but with that chassis I guess it was an 870c or a YZ-10.

Re: Kyosho Turbo Scorpion and Tomahawk

Nice resto on the Scorpion - you wouldn't know that wasn't brand new.

Are those 'Sand Super' stickers on the lower white section on the wrong sides - the shape seems wrong?

I see Chris Sturdy has entered. Be good to see him on dirt over here.

Why are we spelling tyres with an 'i' now?
